Shelley is a deeply experienced coach who has 25 years experience. She originally trained as a organisational psychologist in the RNZAF and has worked in leadership assessment, succession and team development across multiple industries and geographies.
She is a trusted coach for CEOs, C-suite and senior leaders aspiring to move into an Executive role.
Her experience in CEO succession and C-suite succession provides her with strong leadership benchmarks, which brings a unique edge to her coaching. She also works with top teams who know they have strong individual leaders, but need help to create focus, alignment and cohesion to convert their individual talent to become a high performing team.
Shelley offers a unique blend of training as a Psychologist, a coach and a consultant, as well as her own leadership and organisational experiences to inform her approach. She applies behavioural principles but ensures her work is grounded in the business realities.
She holds a Masters in Psychology, a Masters in Coaching Psychology and a Certificate in Team Coaching. She also brings her own personal leadership experience, having previously been a Chief Content Officer on a global leadership team of a PE backed firm and managing the business through a transaction. She also has change leadership experience, leading a global integration program of work.
Shelley’s expertise on a range of leadership topics is seen through her international publications on topics such as leadership resilience, Executive coaching, innovation and team effectiveness. She has been a guest speaker in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and London on leadership resilience.
